Active learning in online learning environments

 Online learning is not always about passively watching carefully curated videos and answering some multiple-choice questions. With careful design, online learning can be an active learning experience for learners. Using my experience of designing a curriculum for online learning, I believe that all these elements must be present in order for learners to feel engaged.
