I find Pinterest quite useful

I am a little behind schedule when it comes to exploring new tools for EME 6416. There are just too many things to do and we have a submission due this week. I have an account with Pinterest for many years, but I have never quite used it until this course. I really like the visual boards. As a visual learner myself, I am attracted to nicely designed boards and they made me want to click on them. I found that educators shared a lot of useful teaching tips that I can use in my own teaching practices. For example, I saw an example of an exit ticket and how it can be used as formative assessments that provide a quick snapshot of students’ learning of a topic. Sometimes, I get disappointed when I clicked on the board and realised that I have to purchase the templates in order to be able to use it. Not everything is free for use on Pinterest, and I guess some people use the platform to generate leads to their main commercial websites.

  1. I have this feeling I didn't develop the vision board correctly in Pinterest as I too am new at using it, but have been on it for years - mostly helping future daughter in laws make wedding decisions 🥰

I too am an avid forest bather, sometimes on a bike, often hiking or walking. I know that it is a Japanese tradition, often prescribed by therapist, yes? Now I know what it is called, thank you. But I can't quite make the leap that writing a blog feels as good as Shinrin-Yoku though . . .
