Joining an online community

As part of the assignment this week, I joined an online learning community known as e-learning heroes. Actually, I was already a member of the community, but I have never engaged with it till now. As a paid member of Articulate, I am able to participate by commenting, asking questions, submitting challenges, and also access the resources shared by Articulate or other members. I was attracted to the community because of the challenges. Each week, there is a challenge posted by the Articulate community. For example, this week is to incorporate video backgrounds in e-learning. I found that I have learnt so much just by looking at other people's submissions. I like that there is so much to learn about e-learning from other practitioners. There are also discussion forums in the online community, and the posts are made by members sharing templates and their ideas. It just feels good to see everyone encouraging each other and sharing resources so openly with each other. Overall, it has a positive vibe, and I look actually forward to visiting and engaging with this online community everyday.
